Chapter Six

6 The Tao is called the Great Mother:
empty yet inexhaustible,
it gives birth to infinite worlds.

It is always present within you.
You can use it any way you want.

  1. "You can use it any way you want."
    Two cats and one me
look out the same glass door
There is no agenda for this day
it is done in order and on time
We are creatures of the Tao
    these cats and I
    We do not name god
    we sit with god
    In empty silence
    our hearts are full
    We communicate
    without saying a word
    Allow space in-between
    we remain close
    Sit in one chair
    we remain unique
    We have everything
    without wanting anything
    When hungry
    we eat
When active we chase demons or gods
    no matter demon or god
It is the journey we value
    the chase with no destination
    We are there
    when we arrive
    We wash
    and are clean
    We do not desire beauty
    we are beautiful
At sunset we continue as at sunrise
one leap from floor to table
In the dark of night we sleep
    or not.
    When tired
    we close our eyes.
